While quartz does not need to be sealed, granite countertops have to be sealed every 3 years.


How long does countertop installation take?

Once you pick out your template, installation of your new granite countertops can occur within 7-10 days. Installation time takes 1.5-2 hours.


Can silverware scratch granite?

Great news! Silverware cannot scratch your granite countertops. 


Which is more durable, granite or quartz?

Quartz is a more durable stone compared to granite. You can cut on the surface without scratching it. Using a knife on granite countertops is not recommended.


How can I prevent stains on my granite or quartz countertops?

Quartz is susceptible to stains. To get the stain out, leave bleach on it overnight and it should come out the next day. Granite countertops cannot be stained as long as they are sealed.
